Thomas Galinis
Dentist
Dr. Tom Galinis grew up in Delray Beach, Florida and went on to attend the University of Florida, College of Dentistry. After graduating, Dr. Galinis decided to reside in Stuart, Florida, and has been practicing in this area since 1996.
Dr. Galinis is an accredited member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Florida Dental Association, the Atlantic Coast Dental Society, the Tri-County Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Galinis is also an active member of the Seattle Study Club.

Shannon Galinis
Dentist
Dr. Shannon Plymale-Galinis is a long time resident of Martin County. She grew up in Palm City, Florida, and went on to complete her undergraduate studies at Clemson University. Dr. Galinis attended the University of Florida College of Dentistry and returned to her home community to practice dentistry.
Dr. Galinis is an accredited member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Florida Dental Association, the Atlantic Coast Dental Society, the Tri-County Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Galinis is also an active member of the Seattle Study Club.

T.L. Plymale
Dentist
Dr. T.L. Plymale moved to Florida from his native West Virginia in 1964. He attended the University of Florida where he received an Associate of Arts degree in 1967, and graduated from Florida Atlantic University in 1969 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology. He received his dental degree from West Virginia University in 1974. Dr. Plymale moved to Stuart that same year and opened his practice, as the 5th general dentist in Martin County. Four years later he moved his practice to Palm City and was the very first dentist to this area.
He is a 31 year resident of Martin County and is active in community affairs, currently serving as chairman of the Palm City Redevelopment Advisory Board. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Tri County Dental Society, and has served on the Peer Review Committee.

Carrie
Office Coordinator
Carrie is one of our Office Coordinators, joining our team in March 2012. Canadian born & raised, and now a 20 year Florida resident. She began working in the dental field in 1996 as a certified dental assistant after attending Indian River State College. She enjoys spending her personal time enjoying the water and her beloved boxer dogs.
Julia
Dental Hygienist
Julia is our Dental Hygienist and Certified Dental Assistant. She joined our practice in 1997. Julia graduated from Palm Beach State College in 1993 Sigma Alpha Pi. She is a native Floridian, raised in Miami Lakes. She is passionate about golf and enjoys water and outdoor activities. “I have had many wonderful and fulfilling years working and seeing how lives are changed by our beautiful dentistry.”
Alissa
Dental Hygienist
Alissa Is one of our Dental Hygienists, joining our team in October 2013. She began working in the dental field for an Oral Surgeon in 2004 as a Surgical Dental Assistant. She then went on to Dental Hygiene school at Indian River State College and graduated in 2008. She was born and raised in Northwest Ohio and moved to this area in 2004. She and her husband have two young daughters that keep them on the go. She enjoys time spent with her family outdoors and on the water.
Krista
Dental Hygienist and Chairside Assistant
Krista is our Dental Hygienist and Dr. Shannon Galinis’ Certified Dental Assistant. She joined our practice in 2004 as a Dental Assistant and later finished her Dental Hygiene degree from Indian River State College in 2008. She is a native Floridian, born in Miami and moved to Palm City in 1992. She has been married to her husband since 2010 and just adopted a puppy named Otto.
Debbie
Chairside Assistant
Debbie Hopkins is a Certified Dental Assistant for Dr. Tom Galinis, working in our office since 2002. She has been in the dental field for thirty-five years and moved to this area from Michigan in 1972. She has one son and two grandchildren. She enjoys gardening and spending time with her Aussie, Nicholas.
